Answer these two short essay questions (1 to 2 paragraphs each) and quote specifically from the two above links. Incorporate a statement Perry made from each of these video/recording.
1. What is Governor Perry’s assessment of the relationship between the federal government and the state of Texas? Explain.
2. Your book talks about different models of federalism. What is the difference between cooperative federalism and coercive federalism? Which model does Perry think describes the operation of the federal government? Explain why

The difference between coercive federalism and cooperative federalism is that cooperative offers grants to aid in encouraging the states to cooperate with federal national goals and and coercive forces the states to comply with federal national goals without any compensation to help fund their federal goals.

Now can you say that better and in a shorter amount of words? That is part of Question 2. I believe now all I need is Perry’s opinion which I believe it is coercive federalism.
