Educational Goals

            The reasons for pursuing education are many and vary with each individual. My educational goals and objectives are aimed at ensuring I achieve a fulfilling nursing career. The reasons for pursuing a nursing career are numerous and vary with each person. My reasons for becoming a nurse are influenced by various issues of personal and professional issues. It is my belief that the University of Detroit Mercy offers a good nursing program akin to my expectations in terms of educational goals and personal objectives. Therefore, joining the University of Detroit Mercy is an opportunity for achieving my goals and objectives with regard to nursing.

The reason for joining the University of Detroit mercy is that the school offers a comprehensive nursing program that ensures a successful nursing career. While this is true, an individual needs to be focused and determined to work to achieve this success. The learning environment is an important factor for ensuring success. The school offers adequate facilities for study and training in the medical field. A good learning facility offers all the necessary tools. This is the kind of environment required by a student for a successful learning experience. A vital goal in any educational undertaking is developing the requisite skills and techniques for professional competence. In this sense, a nurse needs to be well endowed with nursing methodology and practices that will encourage the necessary competencies in nursing. I believe that the University of Detroit Mercy is the best place for achieving such skill and technique.

My objective is to learn from professionals who understand the nursing profession and the requirements for becoming a nurse. The University of Detroit Mercy has employed the services of competent professionals and scholars to lecture aspiring nurses. It is important to gain insights into the profession from those who have had time to study and immerse themselves into the nursing profession. The nursing program at the school therefore has competent and well-equipped lectures and trainers to ensure that all who go through the school have good understanding of what nursing entails. The challenges in the nursing profession can be tackled effectively only if aspiring nurses have been accorded the best education and training.

Nursing can be a difficult and challenging job. Nursing educational goals should strive to produce nurses who have the ability to adapt to the ever-changing health care needs of the society. While it may be difficult to predict society’s needs in healthcare, nurses should be trained to meet any eventualities regardless of the situation. The University of Detroit Mercy’s nursing program has a reputation for producing well-rounded individuals able to cope with the challenging conditions of the nursing profession. My personal goals are to ensure that am well equipped to become a nurse. Compassion and passion for the profession are not enough to prepare one for the tough job ahead. In this regard, I believe that the University of Detroit Mercy offers me the chance to become a passionate worker with the drive and skill to serve as a nurse in ensuring that patients assigned are given the best care possible.

Nursing is an important aspect of medicine and educational goals should be developed minding the vital nature of effective nursing technique in health care. Skill, ethic and adaptive practices are aspects that create good professionals. It is my sincere belief that the University of Detroit Mercy nursing program will accord me the chance of becoming a good and competent nurse by ensuring that these features form part of a successful nursing career.
